School of Global Business Advisory Committee

Members of the Arcadia School of Global Business Advisory Committee play an important role in the strategy and operations of the business school.

The School of Global Business Advisory Committee serves to guide our School to meet its goals of growth and success. Each member possesses a specific expertise in business and years of success in their related industry. 


To provide assistance in facilitating the highest quality of education at Arcadia University.


Members shall be elected by a majority vote of the committee members present at the spring meeting and serve a full term commencing at the conclusion of the spring meeting.  A full-term membership shall be limited to four years.


Regular meetings of the committee will be held twice each year. The primary will be held in the Fall, and the second meeting will be held in the Spring. Meeting times and locations for the next meeting will be designated by the council chair and communicated to the board members and nominees at the close of the current meeting.

Primary Functions

To act as an advisory group to the Chair of the School on specific issues, advise on modifications the School might make on undergraduate and various graduate curricula of the School. The Advisory Committee will examine operations of the School and try to bring a better understanding of its mission. It will also advise and assist the School on ways to raise resources from private and corporate sources. Finally, the committee will serve as an advocate to represent the School’s interest to the business, professional and the various governmental communities and the administration of the University.

The ten men and women on the board are a diverse group of experts and are selected for their distinction in their professions. They are leaders in small and large firms and offer a wide array of perspectives and experiences.
